The lead time is the period between initiating and completing a manufacturing process. The exact time depends on product volume, manufacturers’ stock holdings, and other orders ahead. For example, the lead time between placing an order and the packing up of commodities by a given manufacturer might be between 1 to 6 weeks.
Delivery of items can vary due to location and manufacturers’ stock holdings. However, the estimated time is usually 25-45 working days after manufacturing. For bigger, bulkier, sensitive or weighty items, some deliveries to outer/regional/rural areas or areas with limited services may be subject to additional delivery charges and may incur extended transit times. This is usually due to their nature and the extra handling required in transporting them.
